I think Costco has one right now that is pretty fuckin decent for around $550 plus GST.
Might wanna check them out.

but I think those are 17" for that price

the Viewsonic 18" (19?) was around $800 last time I was there...

yea, I just swung by there today and it was like 879 for the 19" viewable.
if anyone has a 19" viewable for under 700, consider it sold.

Just comparing price and not looking at what your getting is like jumping off a bridge. Sometimes there is a reason why some of the monitors are sooooo cheap =)

I wouldn't recommend one for gaming, and i defeneately wouldnt recommend one to u seeing as your a hardcore gamer haha.
naw they're alright, not the best tho, i dont like the LCD techonology yet.

you want a 17". its one of NEC's top LCDs. its great for gaming.

16ms response time <-- lowest possible for lcd
450:1 contrast ratio

i've had it for 2 months..i've turned it on about 2 times. basically i bought it to do a multi-monitor setup, but never used it.
