Ok, Beyond, I need your help. What do you think of this one for sale?

I'm looking to downgrade and in the pics, it looks decent but I have no clue what to look for....I know it's a dealership in Forest Lawn but other than that, what else to look for? How much are parts for these things? Do most mechanics know how to fix them?

I know the current gen 323s don't come with leather and I thought neither did the previous gen. But people always pretend like it's leather in their ads.

Meh, I'm downgrading so I'm really more worried about fixing stuff with it.....probably keep it for a 1-2 years until I can secure a mortgage.

I'd get a second opinion from a mechanic.

Fixing anything on BMW's are pricey.

Doesn't seem that good of a deal tbh. KM's are kind of on the high side too. If anything goes wrong, your gonna be bending over.

Get an experienced non-dealer BMW mechanic to give the car a once over, believe me the little bit of money spent early in the game will save you from a bucket of pain around the corner. Something as simple as a timing belt will mean replacing everything from the belt on out, as you are in there and they will need replacing in a short time. Brakes same deal, better to spend a bit to know if there are vipers waiting to strike. Get a clean car and it will be sweet, get the other and you will be wishing you bought that Camry.

No comments on the dealer? Quest? Is this a "Kingsway" type dealer for those of you familiar with used car dealers in Vancouver? Meaning all their cars are from the East or US and have been replaced with cheap parts?

Not a good deal at all. About 3k too high. Don't buy a 3 series. Buy like a 99 Maxima or a Honda. Something cheaper and more reliable.
