So apparently the second anniversary is cotton...

Rolland and I just celebrated our two year anniversary today. In the lame list of "themes", anniversary #2 is cotton. So as my gift, I was given this:

WOOT! :clap: Took it to banff today and had some fun with it. So far it's a FANTASTIC camera! Way different in function than my 40D, but a lot of fun! Woot for clever husbands! Oh and good friends who lend us theirs for a weekend to play with and fall in love with! (Thanks rage2!)

Holy wow!!!! Have you played with video mode on it yet? I am extremely jealous. I'd marry Roland too if it meant 5dmkii's! Lol.

We have actually. It was one of the reasons for getting it. Normally I'd hate a video function on a pro DSLR, and I rolled my eyes at it when they announced it, but our little guy is still tiny and growing like a weed. The vids we have of him are taken on our little crappy p&s and the playback is not great. So, when we learned that this one could give us excellent HD video, we thought it was a nice add on to an already incredible camera :)

Very pleased with the video function. Sound is not stellar, but it works well enough for what we'll be using the function for.

Haha no, it all got bumped down the line. Now the 40D is backup, the 20D went to my mom and the old ass d60 she had of mine from 5 years ago got given to my brother. Haha I have a hard time getting rid of bodies lol
