how is the CRX in the snow?

any tips for driving in the winter?

should i be putting something in the back to weigh it down?

i drove it a few days at the end of winter last year and it felt like i was losing control a few times

drive safely and always be on guard..... those things are so light.
my friend crashed his CRX one winter many years back and it was b/c of stupid ice.

if you put weight in the back, you will lose traction because you are taking more traction away from the drive wheels.

so that fob theory about the sandbags is wrong?

i was always wondering about that since the car is fwd
but my dad keeps telling me that it helps haha

Definately wrong!! CRX is a great car for bootin around in winter, as long as you get some good winter's. Crappy tire sells a great set of winter tires for about $54 a piece (185-60R14) only I don't remember the name...:dunno:

Look how many other civics you see on the road in the winter...no reason to be concerned

i drove my crx for 2 winters and it was fine. It went into the ditch once but ANY car would have with 2 feet of unplowed snow on the road. There fine you'll be fine just watch out for other people on the road

weight in the rear of a vehicle really only helps if it a rear wheel drive vehicle.
