neat to see the individual components as i didn't really know what they looked like to begin with. it says the battery can be charged up in 0.5sec, wouldn't it be cool if the regulations were changed so the system could be used for more than 6 seconds per lap...

In order for KERS to be relevant, they will need to extend the duration and power of the system. I think they will change regulations next year to create more incentive for teams to integrate KERS into their cars. Right now with the 6 seconds and 80hp coupled with the weight and ballast, the difference is negligible.

From what I read they're planning on keeping the duration the same for next year but doubling the power, then in 2011 doubling the duration.
