I remember reading this in a thread but can't find it anymore....where can I download a good cooked ROM for the HTC Touch Diamond, the phone is so frickin slow and the battery power sucks ass...I seriously wished I got the Iphone instead but heard so many good things about this phone. :(

Weird you're having crap battery life, I used to when I had it checking my non-push addresses every 15 minutes. That sucks the battery like you wouldn't believe, you would assume it could be more efficient at checking though.

As for the speed, yeah, with the new ROM that HTC made (telus released it a few months back or so) it started working pretty good, but it was a bit slow even after that. You can use a registry editor if you want to optimize it like crazy or you can use "Advanced Configuration Tool" and optimize it to run faster. I don't have many issues with mine anymore and I love the fact I can customize pretty much anything I'm having problems with, unlike the iPhone :(

Under Pocket PC -> PPC Miscellaneous/ 多元化 there should be some threads for the diamond. Be careful though, a lot of the users have the GSM diamond so be sure the rom you're getting isn't going to screw your phone.

Search for MightyROM if you've got a CDMA (Telus or Bell) phone.

Also forums.ppcgeeks.com (that's where MightyROM sits...).

I would also suggest MightyRom, been using it for awhile and have had only a few minor issues. Definitely made the phone better though.
