Ok i might sound a little dumb here, but how do you use it ?
do i just search through google or another web search to find files?
or is there a list of web sites that hosts them ?
i understand that it is a P2P service i just dont understand how it works.

Help. i feel like a newbie

Never works for me, I always get ridiculously slow speeds even on files with the most number of sourced. Friends seem to pull fairly decent speeds off it though. :dunno:

Well, for ppl who say bittorrent sucks, if you're not shutting it down after you complete a download, it'll keep uploading what you've just downloaded til you tell it otherwise and as for shaw calling you up for bandwidth abuse, in the end, its your fault hehe.

Keep it around 30 gigs up/down and they'll never bother you. Also, as for bt speeds, setting ur upload to aboutu 15/16 KB/s regardless if you're on cable/DSL gets me my best results for download bandwidth. Fastest I've dl'd off bt was 589 KB/s and I'll usually pull around 150 KB/s but of course that depends on if you're connected to a seed or if theres enough ppl uploading.
