I've only had regular maintenance done with Option Import but they have always been great, on time, price is right.

Really good guys and service, pretty sure they both used to work at an Acura dealership too so should know about your EL.

Although i havent really got any major work from them, they are very nice and accommodating. They seem to be very, very helpful whether the job is big or small.

+1 from me.

Jim worked on my NSX and I bought tires from him. Both times he was polite, gave me good advice and was extremely honest. After the work was performed the bill was exactly what he said it would be and the job was done to my satisfaction. I'm recommending everyone I know to go to him.

It helps that hes a living breathing NSX bible lol, i've once seen him do one side's head gasket on a C30A in half a day (includes pulling the motor out) then go to the track the next day :nut: no lies!

x10 for Option Import

I've taken my car there for service twice. They seem to be good guys. I will go there again if I need something done for sure.

Was yours the red one? I remember seeing one there for a while.

I'm too lazy to do anything now, so I just drop off my cars there.

Some say his sweat can fuel a Ferrari Enzo,
and his skin is made of carbon fibre...
all we know is...he's called The Stiii...I mean Jim.
+1 --> Option Import for good advice and service.

The only guys to touch my car besides the stuff that's done under warranty at the dealership.

Top notch.

Me too.
Plus they are so quick when you go in for a oil change. Not even worth doing it your self anymore with team option around.

The only shop I deal with, aside from Jim and Howard being top notch, they are also right besides a Hooters, I've met up with a few buddies for a beer and wings while waiting for my car, that is convenience at its finest:thumbsup:

on a side note, the guys spent hours on my brakes (made a vibrating noise) and did everything they can to get rid of it but could not solve it, Jim being the man that he is just told me straight up that there was nothing else they can think of that they can do to get rid of it and offered to give me back my money for all the work they did, of course I declined as I know that the issue is so miniscule the brakes work fine, eventually the noise went away, well for now anyway and I am a happy customer and will continue going there.

I have known Jim for 10+ years and he has worked at serveral dealerships around Calgary over the years.

He is very honest and trustworthy. He does all the work on my Titan and my parents cars.

so i guess the general concensus is that option import is not very reliable and your car will be wrecked if you take it there.
