Converting .doc to .docx

I tried searching but couldnt come up with a solution on converting my document files to a docx(office 07)

Can anyone help me out and lead me to something that i can use to convert my file.

If you have Word 07 or whatever, can't you just open the .doc and save it as docx?

do you have office 2007? you can just save as, then select the docx format

if not, send it to someone you know who has it to save for you

I don't get it. Why do you need it to be a .docx to print it? Word 2007 can open .doc files just fine.

Zamzar (http://www.zamzar.com) can convert .doc to .docx, by the way.
