i think it was 3 letters followed by 3 numbers. no special custom plate or anything. just a regular alberta plate.... it was going pretty fast too.

That's pretty harsh! I can just see it now, they tow you out to the middle of a field, tie you up and make you watch your car get destroyed while they torch it and shoot it up :guns: Then they leave you for dead with your wrecked car.

So does that mean if I ever get pulled over by the cops that they are going to tow me and distroy my JDM R because it "doesn't meet safety standards"???
I don't think so guys....something sounds funny here.

The guy across the street from me has a Conquest TSI, a car which was never sold here, he brought it up from the states, one inspection later, and its totally legit not one bit of noise out of anyone over the VIN, or the American DOT badges
Sweet car that it is to, the previous owner dumped about 15k US into over the last 5 years or so, the first day he had it we totally rocked a 300z TT with it, the guy in the 300 followed us all the way home to find out what it was. We thought we were gonna get the baseball treatment for skoolin him in front of his woman, but he was cool and has become a good friend as well, none of us like the front end of the car , it looks like its been cut off accidentally.

You could bring it up here, but you could only drive it for a year then its the crusher or it gets exported back to the states.
