They do. It's actually really nice. But I heard the side skirts sag alot. And also that it gets stepped on alot because it sticks out soooo far.

I'm soooo curious about my gas mileage now ever since my salesman told me about the gas mileage meter. I should really change that display because I keep looking at it.
When I first started driving it when I got it I was getting 17L / 100k's. Sometimes I'm down to 12.3L/100 km's.
But honestly, I'm not to worried about the gas mileage, my honda's didn't have good gas mileage either.
I'll let you know about the wheels. But honestly if I get a new set of wheels, I would probably just put winter's on the wheels.

Was following a new EVO today and when the guy got into the boost to blow by a bunch of traffic the thing spewed a ton of blue smoke out the exhaust.

Judging by how the clown was driving it, it was well beaten for a new car..but its still a new car, thats kinda pathetic.

My old DSM did that but it was the ancient turbo seals, If I paid over 50K for a new EVO and it puffed smoke I would be PISSED !

It's black smoke from running ultra-rich. EVO X's get only 17 mpg in stock because Mitsubishi tuned them so rich to err on the side of caution knowing people would be modding the cars. I just got the RevIII factory reflash that leans out the car considerably from early tunes. COBB, AMS, etc are making 30-40 whp gains without even increasing boost, just leaning out the super-rich factory tune.

I test drove a 2009 GSR and 2009 MR yesterday man were they a blast to drive.
\Was so tempted to buy it on the spot but couldn't justify paying for one for 5-7 years.

Beautiful car, had more fun with the MT but the AT was switching gears flawlessly at the point that wouldnt realize I was doing 120km/h already on the highway

Yeah I always have to look at the speedometer to see if I'm speeding or not. The car is sooooo smooth you can't tell that your speeding. A little touch on the gas pedal and you are way over the speed limit without knowing haha

I love that color. My top three choices for evo was the gray, white, blue. With my gray GSR being the last 08 GSR in canada it made it a easy choice for me.... hahahaha

Canadians got screwed on EVO options. My MR has the base single CD player that has terrible sound. I bought the JDM OEM double DIN dash kit and will be installing a nice little deck wlth LCD touchscreen this weekend. I'll post pics so you can see as the JDM kit looks much better than the aftermarket kits that don't match the dash plastics.

Thanks man. When I went to buy my evo there was only a blue one and red one, and I was sold on the blue. I think my top colours are the blue, white and gray.

Yeah canada always gets screwed for car models. I wish the GSR came with stock HIDs. I think the GSR models in the states come with it.

I think it might be the service manager from Platinum Mitsuibishi. His evo matches that description, but has a huge decal that says Platinum Mitsubishi on the side. It might only be on one side, I don't quite recall. It sometimes shows a small pic of it on the beyond adds for Platinum Mitsubishi.

No big changes for the 09s. RA tail lights (the black ones) and the RS version will be available. Plus the little cup holder cover, etc.

For the 10s, there is a sexy as hell new LCD that replaces the ugly red one we have. I'll be looking into whether an upgrade is feasible... Other than that, not much has been released as far as I know.

No big changes for the 09s. RA tail lights (the black ones) and the RS version will be available. Plus the little cup holder cover, etc.

For the 10s, there is a sexy as hell new LCD that replaces the ugly red one we have. I'll be looking into whether an upgrade is feasible... Other than that, not much has been released as far as I know.

I saw on the Mitsubishi website with an RS version of the Evo, you guys know what the difference between the RS and GSR is? I'm looking at the specs, and the pictures, and the only difference I can see is that the RS version doesn't have a spoiler, and that there are only 2 colours available, but I just kinda skimmed the specs really quick so :dunno:.

But damn those Ralliart tail lights look hella sweet! :drool:

EDIT: Nevermind, upon looking at the website some more, it says the GSR has all the RS specs plus the following:
- Automatic climate control
- Rear spoiler
- AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo
- 6 speakers
- Auxiliary audio input
- Roof-mount antenna
- Heated front seats
- Sound insulation package
- Floor mats

I actually like the red LCD as it looks just like my brother's Audi LCD but the new multi-color definately looks more bling.

I broke down and bought some RA tails off ebay. They look much better on black than the red ones IMO. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

I would never get the RS. I guess only a true track whore would get that car.
