Reason for selling?

Selling because I have too many cars. I started driving it again just the last few days, nice car, I missed it. My boys are really digging the targa roof. :bigpimp:

I donno why its still here, not one person has even come to look at it yet. :banghead:

What has been done to prevent Blown Head Gasket? That is the major problem with these mk3 supras. Or is there a MHG in there already? any parts replaced recently ?

There is a few ways to prevent this,

-Park it, don't drive it.
- Drive it, enjoy it and deal with it when it comes
-Be pro-active and replace it before it blows.

When you have one of these, always anticipate a BHG, unless you done them and overtorqued them. Otherwise, super fun cars to drive.

Thanks for the response CelicaST-162. I get this question a lot, and since mine does not have a BHG, I really don't don't know how to answer it. I've only owned the car for a couple of years, I have no idea if a previous owner has done the gasket, I just know this one doesn't have any problems.

But, I'm taking the car off the market. I'm just going to drive it this year, and maybe try again next spring.

NO LONGER FOR SALE.

I know what you can do to fix it, i have owned 3 of these cars before. I would recommend that the owner retorque the head bolts for something that may prevent a BHG if its not already going. Also upgrade to an aluminum Rad, and purchase a turbo timer. Just some tips to prevent headaches, have fun driving it and if it is up for sale next year i might be interested.
