Doing some landscaping work around the house and was wondering where i could get truck (pickup) load of soil.

I heard that the city could do it for free but wasnt 100% sure about that.

Any leads?

I don't know if it makes a difference, but there are a bunch of ads in kijijji for loam. I know loam is what you use to put down when laying new grass, but I'm not sure if there's any difference with just dirt/soil for landscaping.

Money's Mushrooms (not sure I think Money's sold out to another company) is giving away as much compost as you can haul away at their mushroom farm North of Airdrie.....excellent for the gardens! Tomorrow is the last day for the free compost, 8am - 4:30pm.

(today they loaded it for you but tomorrow you must load yourself)

They do this every single year the week leading up to Mothers Day. It's free only until tomorrow but you can go and load up a container for about $1.00 any time. We do this every single year.
