View Full Version : Hit and run: May 9th, 2009 - Orange/Black charger

~Touge/Wangan-

Tonight my friends Red supercharged FB RX7 was involved in a hit and run inccident by a two toned charger, black and orange, licence plate read something like "SFU-660" or "GEU-606" but could be off by a letter or so, a female driver was present, hit the RX7 and ended up leaving the parking lot in a hurry, went down barlow, up 50th ave and down 52nd street towards forrest lawn as a bunch of us attempted to follow the individual....

This happened in the tim hortons parking lot at the "street races" at around 11:30pm....

we believe the individuals name is "tarra" or something according to witnesses, the vehicle has been seen multiple time's in the NE area near Memorial Drive and 52nd street, the rear passanger side of the charger will have sustained damage as a result....

if ANYONE has any info leading to the where-abouts of this vehicle, PLEASE send me a message asap, thanks for all the help, this is a somewhat unique looking vehicle, you cant miss it when you see it....

it's ignorant to hit someone's car parked in the parking lot, it's even worse to think you can do so and get away with a hundred people watching you commit the crime....

( my spelling sucks tonight, it's late.... )

well in my defense, a civic doesent fare well against a charger, lol....

regardless, it's a lousy situation, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!...

05-10-2009, 12:11 PM
sorry, the drivers front was hit, the girl tried to squeeze through a stall in the parking lot and couldnt make it, tried to make a right past the RX7 and clipped the drivers front, the fender and bumper were hit, pushed in and the front bumper was shifted over a bit....

i didnt notice any paint transfer so i'm thinking the charger's rim may have made contact with the RX7 more then anything, supposedly the rear 1/4 portion of the charger behind the rear wheel is plastic?...

:dunno:

have you reported this to the police yet?

05-10-2009, 04:38 PM
Yep, been reported to police along with 3 witness statements and vehicle description and license #. They told me (she hit my car) they feel they have a hit on the vehicle description and they would update me, but you know how quick that goes.

Yep, that's it. Can anyone provide contact info?? I'd be happy to forward on to police or deal directly with her insurance if she would like to make it easy and just fess up.

The facebook link was a great hit, perhaps some here may know some of her friends. Hit and Run will have a far greater impact on insurance than the accident, I would suggest she try to clear things up to her benefit with the advice of someone she trusts.

OP: Did it have that face painted in the back when it was involved in the hit and run? That's a pretty sure-fire identifier you might have wanted to mention.... :)

Great that the woman has been found. Keep us posted!

I have received insurance information, been in contact with the insurance company and the driver has been co-operative throughout. She provided all necessary information and apologized promptly on Sunday. I don't foresee having any issue with getting repairs as the car was insured and the insurance has had contact from their policy holder. Thanks for everyones support.

:werd: She had better cooperate unless she wanted to face hit and run charges. Hell, depending on how vindictive you are, she still could face charges. The only reason she's paying up now is because you had to do some detective work to hunt her down...

:werd: :werd: i would for sure, teach them a lesson. She obviously didnt give a shit when she took off after hitting you, so why would you show compassion when you finally catch her, the thought of her exploding rates excites me

Ofcourse, who wouldn't in that situation. I'm sure the police will deal with things in their way. I'm just happy to be able to get mine looked after at this point.

Quite a few actually, people are very stupid.

She has at least 1/2 a brain - otherwise there wouldve likely been more charges laid against her ass.

Maybe there were other contributing causes to the hit and run other than just being a douche. Perhaps she had a few too many drinks and was worried about a DUI, or maybe had some other contraband present. And didn't want to stick around to see what happens.

Not an excuse either way, but I've seen that happen too.

Police never contacted me, just sent information in the mail. Insurance company slow, based in Sask. Policy holder told insurance company he was going to look after things, but I told them they need to assign an adjuster. really starting to feel rather fucked over right now!

They got their shit together and things moved along just fine now. Issue wasn't the insurance company, or the driver. The policy holder was holding everything up!

Sorry for the bump, but it was a good story, aside from the ending. You should've just let CPS slap the cuffs on her. Its a hit and run, one should pursue it as such. End of story. Everyones got a crime they hate...one of the several for me is hit and run. :guns:

yea this is another disney ending just like scat's thread about the hit and run. Just when the story gets good, it suddenly ends and everyone wins

HAHAA maybe if you're into vampires and strangely attractive female ghosts and demons like most young children are...otherwise it's pretty weak. the pure skill of the artwork is the absolute only thing i cna compliment on this car.
