Go to http://www.calgarytransit.com/ and pick route "201" or "202" and the right day, it tells you all the times.

Depends whether you want weekdays or weekends, and also which line you want. To find the start/end times without going through the Calgary Transit website's multi-click schedule finder, I suggest the following:

Go to http://members.shaw.ca/lrtincalgary

Scroll down a bit to the map, click which station you want to board at, and scroll to the bottom of that page and there is a table with start and end times for weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and direction of travel.

You may notice the south line starts much earlier than the other two lines, by almost an hour. This is because the trains come online out of Anderson Garage which is located next to the south line.

^Depending on what time you have to be at the airport, the route 57 will take you there from Whitehorn Station. The first one is at 05:20 and arrives at the airport at 05:47 (and every 20 minutes after that).

Get off the train at Whitehorn, and it will come to the bus loop on the west side of the station. If 05:47 is early enough for you, it will get you there a lot cheaper than a cab.

I have to leave from Dalhouse as early as I can and get to whitehorn and then bus/taxi..

I have to be at the airport anytime before 6am on wed

Dalhouse NW- Whitehorn NE

Leave on Route 201 Weekdays First Train Southbound 04:31am

Now I'm being told you have to change trains downtown. Thats along way on a train...lol

You should be good then, leave from Dalhousie probably no later than 4:45, make sure transfer downtown to a northeast bound (McKnight-Westwinds) train. Then get off at Whitehorn and either take that early #57 bus or taxi, whatever works for you.

Thanks man!!!!

Does that #57 bus go right up to the airport like where people come out of the airport or is it acouple blocks away?

It stops right outside on the lower level (arrivals).

This one website says the train leaves dalhouise at..

First/Last Train Departures:

Route 201 Weekdays First Train Southbound Dalhouise 04:31am

My friend just checked the time for his time to get on the c-train which is acouple stops southbound from me and it shows the train will be coming at 4:17am...That makes no sence...thats before the first train even leaves....lol

Now he just sent me what calgary transit website says...

Origin: LIONS PARK STN

Now how does a train get too lions park before it even leaves dalhouise????????????? Something screwed up!!!

frinkprof

^That is going the other direction (Lion's Park Station I presume). The train comes from the south line north through downtown, stops at Lion's Park at 04:17, stops at Dalhousie, then goes back the other way at 04:31. The train has to come all the way from the south line before it reaches Dalhousie to turn around and go south again.

Okay but lions park trains go both ways south and north..lol...Right now it shows the train will be heading southbound before it even leaves the end of the line..

BUT... The train leaving dalhouise leaves at 4:31am

Its spose to be at arriving at lions park at 4:17am which is 3 stops down from dalhouise. That makes no sence. Time doesn't go backwards.!!! LOL

Nope, the trip planner has some kinks in it (to say the least) especially at oddball times like 4AM when the system is just starting for the day. What it did is create a trip that would have someone getting on at Lion's Park, going all the way to Dalhousie, sitting on the train while the driver switches ends, going all the way back before finally heading southbound which was the intention.

As long as that train really does leave at 4:31am from Dalhouise otherwise I'm going to be the only one sitting there waiting.
