Static X Motorsports SUCKS

I wanted to post up my dealings with

Robert Schwarze

and to post up that if you want a Haltech, Buy it DIRECTLY FROM HALTECH

Company Name: Static X Motorsports, Inc.
Company Address: 9584B Madison BLVD Madison AL 35758
Company Phone: 256-258-6990
Bank Name: Regions
Bank Address: 201 Milan Parkway , Birmingham AL 35211
SWIFT CODE: UPNBUS44
ACCOUNT #: 46280227
ROUTING #: 062005690
I prepared this little summary of how the deal went down, it was going to be addressed directly to him but the Internet is a powerful tool..

I was serving overseas for six months so the internet was the only way I could get in touch with the company.

Me to Robert...

Robert, I wanted to let you know how your lack of concern and inability to do your job, has completely screwed me over.

I asked you two simple questions before I agreed to buy from you.

1st, Can you ship USPS to Canada to avoid the Brokerage fees associated with UPS.
2nd,Can you make the parcel worth less on the Weigh Bill so I do not get hammered paying Full Tax on $3000.00 USD.

You agreed to do both of these requests.

On 09 Feb 09, I sent you payment for the Total cost of the order, $2800 US exchanged to $3200 CDN. I even sent more money to cover the cost that you would loose by using Pay-Pal.

I heard nothing from you for days, then you sent that were worried about the payment taking time to clear to your E-Mail address due to it's large size. Who Cares, I was overseas for two more months, so you waited, failed to answer my e-mails and then waited and waited and finally just canceled the Pay-Pal. You then asked me to resend the payment to a different e-mail, 15 Days later when the Canadian dollar had dropped significantly compared to the USD.

On 25 Feb 09, $2800 US would exchange to $3650 CDN (The Date I had to re-send payment)

I was a bit upset, because that is basically now more expensive than if I went directly to Haltech AUS.

But I was happy again becasue it was on the way...

I paid the second time, You confirmed that the payment was received and that the parcel was on the way. Once again days went by without contact, but I assumed that the parcel was on the way. I guess you held the delivery because you claim you were worried about the parcel not being received at the post office. You figured that because I was overseas, it was OK to just hold my parcel until I got back. Oddly, that makes no sense, I told you that my wife was able to collect the parcel, even sign for it legally on my behalf. She and I were both waiting for it. After 20 Days I sent you an E-Mail asking for a tracking number, two days later, you replied that you didn't send it yet because you wanted me to be home. I reminded you that I expected you to send it and that I didn't need you to babysit my delivery. I also reminded you that I needed you to lower the printed value of the parcel to clear customs. You agreed to to both and finally send it. It arrived two weeks later.

The parcel arrived missing the complete sensor kit, (Had the parcel been shipped when it was supposed to, I would have known sooner, could have told you sooner and might have been able to get the sensor package in time for the build. You Probably forgot, you probably didn't reply to my email becasue you forgot and couldn't bring yourself to tell me. So now what.. I have no email from you and I had no parts for two more weeks. Finally I got a reply from you..., "Shit Brian, I forgot... I'll send it out today.." 12 Days later, no confirmation that it was sent and no parcel. I emailed you again, Once again "Shit Brian, I forgot...I'll send it out today.." BULLSHIT! I'm DONE WITH YOU.

So when the original parcel was sent, you obviously forgot to lower the value, I would expect that from you knowing how you operate now. Before it was sent I even reminded you with the second payment, and after you decided to hold my parcel, I reminded you, and you said, "Sure thing Brian, I'm on it"........ and forgot.

I was charged a COD for Canadian sales tax on the full value in US funds when it finally crossed customs. That was $320.00 CDN COD on top of the Pay-Pal screwup.

I selected the exact day I sent the first payment, becasue the US dollar was low.

So, In total. Because you forgot, or didn't read the E-Mails, or didn't f-ing care. I am personally out more than $1000.00 more than I was expecting. Plus missing parts with ZERO action from you in almost a month.

Tell me I shouldn't be a little upset.

You have totally Screwed up my order, in my opinion.

After all that I decided to not deal with Robert directly because he is USELESS, Broken Promises, Inability to remember anything. He was able to do all that before he got payment, but after, he couldn't.

I sent an e-mail to Eric Gash at Haltech USA... He asked me what I needed, I sent this, WITHIN 60 Minutes I had a UPS Tracking number from Haltech USA.

HALTECH USA, YOU ARE AWESOME!

Me to Eric Gash at Haltech USA

I have been waiting for an IAT sensor and Coolant sensor from a haltech authorized dealer in the US. (Static X)

I received my main order over 60 days ago, but he never sent these two sensors. I asked about it and he said he was "on it, I'll ship them the next day", later I inquired about it and he said "Shit I forgot" then "I'm on it, they'll ship the next day"

He does not answer E-Mails usually until 3 have been sent. It is truly frustrating.

I understand that this is totally not your problem, but I still do not have the sensors and he has not answered any of my emails for over 12 days, so I have no way of knowing if he "Shit I Forgot" again.

I am at the point where I truly feel I should just buy them again... I have a $3000 EMS hooked into a car that can't do anything due to incompetence. He was very active in E-Mail before he got paid...

Your input would be interesting.

Thanks very much.

So 3 days later I had received the sensors.

After all that, I got an E-Mail form Robert replying to an email, I had posted a week before asking about the sensors... He simply replied, "Eric is sending them... god bless"

Give me a break, you are useless Robert, my mission is to let everyone know how poorly you look after your customers..

EPIC FAIL! DO NOT DEAL WITH STATIC X MOTORSPORTS

I feel a bit of sympathy for you, but I lost most of it when you expected a shipper to falsely claim the value of a shipment and then lost it on him when he failed to do so.

It wasn't really that..

The reason I am upset with Robert has 100% to do with broken promises and his lack of communication skills. Money is Money, it's not the issue..

I focus more on the fact that he agreed to it and forgot. It shows a lack of professionalism. If I thought for one minute that he remembered and made a decision to not do it rather than forgetting, I would have never mentioned it and I would not have posted anything on the matter.

Haha, I knew someone would immediately post something useless like this about that part

Anyway, I actually dealt with this guy when I had my STI. He was just a college kid selling parts out of his dorm room or something. Very amateur. Was friendly enough, just did not have his shit together whatsoever. I am guessing you went with him because you saw a really good deal. It's always the disorganized college kids on internet forums that seem to have these deals, and it often ends up the same :) Though, it should raise questions when an auto parts dealer plasters "A Christian organization" to everything.

Along with all of these great tools we are blessed with, we return the blessings in donations to many churches and charities such as: The Rock FWC, Asbury, WAY FM radio station, Phil Cameron Ministries, and many more! We greatly appreciate your support and business and hope to serve you well in the future!

So why Static X Motorsports you wonder? Static - Stationary, Non-Moving, (solid). X - Greek Symbol of Christ. So put it together and you have Solid in Christ Motorsports! :nut:

Hindsight FTW...

It's been resolved so I have what I need to run my car. I wish I had found a couple of threads like this. Thanks for your input because this is why I am posting on all the forums I go to.

There are now about 40 or so threads all over.

If you go to STI forums I would appreciate if you hot link this thread or copy paste my original post over. I know he is more into Subaru and he does not deserve the business.

Just Quote my original post, Copy The entire thing into the clipboard, Paste it into notepad or directly on the STI forum in quotation. You can add my email to It, I stand 100% behind what I say and have emails to back what I say from Robert.
