compustar remote

I searched and I guess no one else has this complaint, or I just don't know how to use my compustar yet :confused:

When I close the door, the alarm automatically arms and the remote plays some stupid song! I have tried passive on/off and mute on/off and it still plays that stupid song! Does anyone know how to turn that annoying song off? :dunno:

You might have Auto Arm engaged as well.

I have passive arm enabled and I get the same stupid song but whenever I disable it...I don't get anything from my Compustar.

I saw it in the instruction manual, i'll scan it and put it up tomorrow if you don't have one.

I don't know how to turn it off, but if u press 1 during the song , it'll speed it up I think

Only thing that annoys me about the song it plays is people think it's my cell phone ringing.

That's too retarded of a ringtone for a cell phone but with cell phones now days you never know....could pass for one.

you have autotimer on, i think thats what its called, or your setting the remote starter, but you would know if you were doin that because your car keeps running until you close your door.

Hit I once to autoarm, twice to autoarm with greater range, and 3 times to back to off. The top right arrow should show if it's on.
Car will auto arm and disarm depending on how close u are. Now I am not sure I know the difference betwee n that and the passive arm.

when you leave your car in ready mode and get out, it always does that song on your remote thats just how they work.

If its playing the song the car might be in "auto start ready" mode or whatver.
