k so I checked out P90X advertisements and decided to follow the program as I've heard many good things about it. But I am confused about the program. Are you supposed to follow only one program(like back and bicep) at a time, or all 9 at the same time. Also, are we allowed to rest(days off workout) or work continuous?? I am so confused. Can somebody help me please?? Thanks big dudes.

Yep

Thanks lol. Just kinda confused by the wordings.

Anyway, as far as I know (after scanning through the kit), there is a schedule you can follow that comes with the kit. I have P90X but really have not looked at it fully because I do not plan to start it until next month. There's 3 kinds of workouts: Classic, Doubles, and Lean and each has its own schedule. Hope this helps. :)

how easy is it to set up? Do you have to cut or do anything to the door you want to mount it on?

Very easy. No, no cutting, no bolting, its a resistance design. Just make sure you measure your door first to see if it will fit.

I thought I was in good shape until I discovered P90X. This stuff is extremely difficult, for me anyways. I threw up the first day I tried it and the day after that. I'm so glad I didn't quit my membership at Gold's.

You go to Gold's huh? My gf and I go there but I want to add to our training. Plan to go to Gold's three times a week and slot in certain DVD's of P90x. Also want to do the Crescent Height stairs to go along with various sports.

I am gonna go check out the fitness store in Kensington. Is Go Mango in Brentwood anygood?

Is P90x geared toward people who are already active/workout/muscled and this allows them to tone their bodies or is it also a newbie program?

It's a pretty hardcore routine that will even push the most fit athletes. The first workout I tried was pylometrics. After only doing 15 minutes of the total 1 hour, I was sore for the next 2 days.

I have a pull up bar that I'll give up for $25. It's the Walmart one.

o man ... it's crazy. I couldn't even finish Plyometrics. Barely finished half of it and my legs are sore. Cardio almost put me to bed.
It's kinda crappy because the transition pictures they show have people with huge bellies that don't look anywhere near fit and then those people all muscular afterwards. How could they even do any of these workouts?? hmm.

If listened to the instructor he tells you to go at your own pace/level. Each session you attempt to do more and more. They don't expect you to be at their level right off the hop.

Last night I did KenpoX and after I decided to read the book and apparently I was wrong...LOL.

The first 3 weeks is a certain set of CD's , then weeks 5-8 are another, and 9-10 another, and so on.

Its not just each CD changing day to day...LOL.
