Only the top wing is doing anything. The lower wing doesn't get enough airflow (even without the top wing), and with the top wing in that position, it redirects the remaining airflow well past the lower wing.

The only airflow the lower wing is going to get is on the edges, but there's not enough surface for any meaningful downforce, as it has massive sculpted end plates in the path of what little airflow it's getting. Sculpted endplates are usually only used in the front of the car, to act both as an endplate to increase efficiency as well as channel airflow around the car to reduce drag. Sculpted endplates serves no purpose on the rear of a car.

Therefore, the lower wing is purely there for aesthetic reasons.

Well... We should think about how much downforce the top wing can in theory generate. I believe the 94 Supra wing could do a bit over 150lbs. So you should be able to stand on it and it won't break. So if this car can generate that much, you should be able to do chin ups on it without breaking it. Or start attaching weights to it to see how long it takes to break off or tear off the roof hahaha.

On a side note, I've seen a similar car, mostly in the NW, that is completely white (including the driver). And wears stock 13 or 14" shoes.

That is a common misconception. Look at the FWD touring cars, they all have rear wings for a reason.

Did some research and you're absolutely right! I had read once they don't help, but that is the majority of little spoilers added to all the econoboxes; the ones that never get in the windstream anyway.

well, i can agree that young people with cars that cant afford sports cars usually opt out for tuning something like a civic, but theres nothing wrong with it,

alot of people say why waste money on a car like that
