So I just found out that there is a Gap Outlet and a Banana Republic Factory Store at the South Edmonton Common shopping centre. Wondering if anyone has been to these stores and if they are similar to outlet stores in the States (ie decent selection, decent price)?

The only "outlet" mall that we have being Deerfoot and the only thing outlety about it being ... well nothing, how do these other stores fare?

How are the rest of the outlet/factory stores at South Edmonton Common? I see they also have Guess Factory, Aldo Outlet among others. Finally, I also see Aeropostale, Mexx, Nike, Adidas, CK stores, although I do not know whether or not these are "outlet" stores.

Is South Edmonton Common worth the drive? Ever been?

I'm about a 5min walk away from south common. The outlet stores have outlet prices. Don't expect AMAZING prices, but they are decent (for Gap).

For Banana republic the prices are at a discount, but nothing too exciting.

Calvin Klein (sp) is just overpriced. $40 for a black tee.
