Cheap Thai Food

Are there any non-fancy cheap sketchy thai places in calgary where I can eat for under 15 dollars? ie not King and I or Chili Club

Ruan Thai (1302 11 Ave SW, Calgary AB) go for the lunch buffet. Cheap but verrry verrrrry good! Damn, I might have to go into downtown today, lol!

Thai Express is pretty good, if you looking for fast/cheap food.

What is the buffet at The Rose Garden worth these days?

There's also Thai Bistro that is priced well. I find Rose Garden expensive and the quality of food isn't there. Of course it's a buffet so can't expect much anyways.

There's also Thai Sa-on, haven't been there in years but was good from what I remember. Thai Express is what it is, a fast food place. If you like EDO Japan for Sukiyaki, then you'll like Thai Express.

IMO Thai Express is a hell of a lot better than EDO or Sukiyaki.

Thai Boat on 32nd has pretty decent pad thai for $8.50 (iirc), pretty good too.

Killer lunch special ($8-9 dollars), and some of the tastiest Thai you can get without going to an expensive sit-down place where you get a $15 dish that's tiny.

Yeah, Thai Boat has a pretty decent buffet for lunch on weekdays too...

Around the last office I worked at it was known as the 'Rancid Buffet'... but... I ate there many times and never had a bad dish or any issues, so I think it was just a silly name. ;)
