You must have long pants on and closed toe shoes.
They don't want anything loose at all in the car. In the trunk should be fine, but I have a hatchback so I can't have anything loose anywhere.
They will check your lug nuts, tires, engine for anything dangerous or loose, kill switch for nitrous etc..

Make sure as fuck everything in your engine compartment is tied down. Last year there was a guy with a modded Hyundai and his battery wasnt tied down so he failed tech.

Well, I heard that they want to run it, but can't find the cones. I've also heard they're going to try and run autox EVERY Secret street. But those are just rumors.

Autox = Autocross = Cone course. It's a small course with lots of turns, slaloms, etc.. That get setup on the oval.

I ran water/meth last week. I only use the standard 1/4 o.d. Air brake hose.

Last year was my first time, and it was fall so it was pretty cold and I didnt do anything to warm my tires (tires are expensive) Combined with the fact I cant launch well and the car was new to me and possible mechanically not in perfect condition yeah I would say I sucked.

The car is in much better mechanical shape now with a few add-ons and its a little warmer today so im hoping to be a little faster.

I wasn't driving very well but I also thought the track was pretty bad tonight.
I waited in line for more than an hour for my last run to have the light not work and red light me - so no time slip :guns:

The lineups were pretty crazy at times b ut I still got 4 runs in & had time to BBQ in the pits & BS with a bunch of friends.

The air was great on my later runs & I managed a couple of 10.8's @125 using a 100 shot. If the track is warm next week I'll install the 150hp jets & see what that does for me.

My 60ft times weren't great but average for a Friday early in the season, as a rubber base gets laid down, the traction will improve.

I got six runs in before leaving at 10 pm. Best runs were a pair of 13.5's, versus 13.3's last year, so not too bad for early in the season.

The track got better as the night wore on, so it should be good next week with high 20's in the weather forecast.

i had trouble hooking, i'd heard all the stories but man i never realised how bad it really is until tonight.

the right lane definitely seemed better. first run of the night on the left side was a 15.7 to the last of my 5 runs at 14.8 on the right hand side with a decent hook up.

definitely some sweet haulin ass cars tonight, although busy as hell at it's peak

Yeah I was spinning through 2nd w/ awd and tires set at 30psi. Best of the night was a 14.2@99. Managed a total of 7 runs.

Only person I staged with who beat me caught me at my worst... a 17.0 @53. Trans stopped responding and my dash lit up like an xmas tree shifting into 3rd, so I had to throw it into neutral, shut the engine off, restart it and continue my run.

The guy with the black 2010 Mustang GT brought that in from Budget rent-a-car. Had just 700km on the odometer.

already posted it in the post your latest pic thread...lol...but here's my buddy john. his best run of the night was a 10.76, not bad for a stock swingarm R1 with a mild gearing change...I'm pretty sure this was the unintentional one :P

Last nite was the first time I have ever ran my car. 93 celica gt4 all stock with a boost controler. Got to run 5 times best time was 15.2. So many sweet cars, cant wait till next friday!

I raced the guy with the Mustang and he was and idiot. He didnt know how to do a Burnout, and ended up driving past the tree and having to back up again. He took forever to stage. On the way to get time slips he was going way too fast, im surprised he didnt get pulled off and talked too.

225 tires didn't help as they didn't like to stay planted...

My first run, I spun my back tires, and ended up with a horrible run... even with AWD, I couldn't hook up. Second run was better, but I bogged the launch, HARD. Third and final run, I finally learned to properly feather the clutch, and then misshifted 3rd, with a best run of 14.5 @ 95.. Note to self: Learn to drive.

I couldn't hook for 4 gears on slicks in the skyline. Later in the day it gg better but still crap towards the mid section. Hit a 12.6 @ 109 on my last run. In the sti managed a 13.2 @ 101mph. Doing 4 wheel burnouts are sweeet in that car off the line

yeah he busted a big one comin down the return road...they got pissed

he pulled the on in the pic on his second run, didn't get talked to about that one because it was off the start

third time out he popped it up coming in to third and they got pissed again :P
