I just found out there's races tonight at race city?

Well I'm alittle slow finding out stuff but I would be interested in enrolling my bike and racing.

What is all involved?

I have raced on a track but only at high speed cornering and what not. Never on quarter mile.

I have never raced on the track so i could be wrong.
But full leather, helmet gloves the normal. I think from what i have read that you need to cover all turn signals break lights stuff like that.

If I am wrong I am sorry maybe someone can answer this better then me.

Yeah I am still debating if I should do the 1/4 mile tonight with the bike.

Should be wearing full gear (leathers, boots, gloves, helmet etc)

Don't quote me but I believe you can even wear jeans or textiles but are limited to a certain speed.

Do you have to be wearing leathers? I have a leather jacket but not leather pants there textile pants. I have never done it but i think it would be alot of fun. My new gearing will really speed the bike up.

What does it cost?

This is taken from Race City's web site. However, don't be surprised if you get up there and they tell you it's different.

19. Motorcycle racers must have a full face helmet SNELL 90
or better (IHRA Rulebook). The minimum protective clothing
includes a leather jacket, leather boots/shoes above the ankle,
and leather gloves. For motorcycles running 120 MPH or
faster refer to the 2006 IHRA Rulebook for protective clothing
requirements. Kevlar not permitted.

$25 to race
