Can anybody tell me if this unit will play MP3s burned onto a DVD? It clearly does mp3 on CD, but I cant find a definitive answer for DVD on mp3. Anyone tried this?

Haven't done it....but I'll burn a mp3 dvd at work and let you know....

awesome, that would be cool :thumbsup:

if you dont mind, can you make sure there are alot of songs on it? length doesnt matter so much, but some of the cheaper units crap out because they dont have enough memory to cache the song listing

if its too much trouble, dont worry about it

cool.....yeah I'll try to jam as much songs as I can....I think it can hold 1000+ ....lol.

i downloaded the manual from pioneerelectronics.com and it said it would play it on cd-r and cd-rw, doesnt look like it will do dvd, although it didnt say it wouldnt...

also it said it would only load 270 or 290 items or something...

I've never gotten a definitive answer either but I do know that the cache on these units is generally not big enough to download the song list for more than 300 songs.
