need some sandpaper

Don't know where this thread would fit so i'll try general.

I'm looking for some 2500 grit and 3000 grit sheets of sandpaper. I've tried Canadian tire, Rona, and parts source but the finest grit they have in stock is 2000. Does anyone know if there's a place where they have 2500+ grit in stock?

I was recently in the same boat. None of the Autobody places I went to had anything finer than 1500.
Modern multi part automotive painting systems just don't require the kind of sanding that's needed to make something like an acrylic lacquer shine, so a lot of them don't carry any of the super fine stuff anymore because no one buys it.

Depending on your application, if worst comes to worst, you can get by by sanding down your sandpaper. It's certainly not ideal, but it does work.
