hey guys i was wondering if tgere is a way u can look up someones info if you have their license plate number... my friend recently got jumped and he gas the license plate number and he would like to know who it was

Only registries can do this and if I recall they keep records of who you look up...

No.

There is this thing called FOIP that protects a persons privacy.

If your friend has the plate. He should be calling the police and dealing with it appropriately.

If he called the cops and they dealt with it, then whats the problem?

If it is as straight forward as you say (I highly doubt it is), then there should be a police report that you get a copy of, with all the info on the other person involved.

Well I am not sure if the "cops aren't doing shit" but they certainly won't give the OPs friend the personal info of the person so street justice can occur.

you are doing this all wrong. make a new post saying you will pay $100 for the address and name of XXX-XXX license plate and you will start getting pm's

And here I thought this thread was gunna have some usefull information, like a link to a website where we can check if the custom number plates we want are taken or not.
