Where can I go abouts finding out what kind of transmission oil is needed for my vehicle?

I was told it should be on the dipstick - but for some reason cant see it..

Any suggestions? Tried google-ing and failed.

Cheers :D

Thanks for that

I believe my last mechanic told me that there were various types of automatic transmission fluid, and that they shouldnt be mixed up.
Thus..my original post..

Dexron II, Remember do NOT overfill it. It acts funny... I learned the hard way haha.

Probably Dexron III compatible... Canadian tire will have it.

See if you can find an online copy of a service or owners manual to confirm...

Don't even bother giving people advice. There are different types and they all aren't compatible with different transmissions...
