Just so you know and there are no suprises the unit it self is "hard" programed with settings for specific applications. If your going to use it on any other vehicle besides a FC RX-7 the unit may have to go back to Microtech, to get reprogrammed. It is probably possible to adapt the current settings to any application but it might be a hair more difficult. Sending it back is no big deal though because you will need to get a base map from them anyways. Feel free to ask any questions, if I can't answer them I will find someone who can.

Cheers
Graham

why not find out for sure if the unit needs to go back and be reprogrammed?

Since I don't need the trouble, and there seems to be enough intrest from people who own FC RX-7's, I'll make the blanket statement that if the unit is to be used in any application other that FC RX-7 it will need to be reprogrammed. Just to cover my bases:D

the microtech lt8 is a nice unit. just curious why you are selling it?

microtech ecu's come pre-programmed to run car specific crank/home trigger signals. so yes the ecu needs to be sent back to microtech for reprogramming in order for it to work on any other car since it came pre-programmed for the mazda FC trigger sensors.

I'm actually thinking about hanging onto it for a bit longer now:D
