Okay, I got a call Sunday from a guy in Ottawa with a Supra for sale. He found my number in an ad in a Trader magazine for a defunct Celica/Supra club I was involved with a few years ago....turns out the ad is still running!
Here's the car- 1988 Turbo Targa 5 speed, 37,000 km, red over gray leather, TEMS, new rubber (because the originals were checked from age), NO rust, garaged since new (never seen winter). The muffler is rusted out from condensation, the owner says this is the only problem with the car. Asking price is $15,000.

Owner has dial-up and hasn't posted pics, but he did say he can e-mail them. Since it's a long-distance deal, I'd recommend finding a broker to look the car over. If it's as nice as it sounds, it could be a chance to buy a nearly new MarkIII for half the price of a new car.
