Hey so I"m thinking about driving to vancouver....

but I"m not sure if my car will make it or not.

I drive a 93 civic wit fairly high mileage on it ..(~230km).

The car is fairly decent on gas and wat not but I'm worried it might break down or something on my way there...cuz it is a fairly old car.

Well any advice will help. Thanks!!

Thats a pretty ambiguous question. What kinda shape is your car in? How well do you keep up on maintenance?
I have a friend with a 91 accord with like 340K on it and he makes that drive multiple times a year. As long as your car's not a shitbox, it'll make it. 200K is nothing for an old honda.

230k is nothing on a Honda as long as your regular maintenance is done.

If you are worried. Get an AMA Gold membership.

Flying is your other option.

driving shouldn't be a problem, make sure you check everything before your trip, have good tires, take it easy on the drive and ama is a good idea too. You shouldn't worry about it to much. It is a nice drive actually.

I made that trip a couple time this year already in my subaru that has 320k kms on it.

it's not a bad drive, some steep hills. just make sure you cooling system is in working order. I've saw 2 car-b-q's last time I went.

if it's an older car, just give it a break every couple hours and check all the fluids.

Drive it and find out.. I've driven across Canada in a an 85 2wd lowered toyota pickup with a carburated 22re engine, had like 400000kms on it, totally survived.
