Yeah, but you can always dicker him down.

Oh wait, price is non-negotiable. He doesn't just want to screw people a little - he wants to screw people a lot! I can't imagine he paid anywhere near 43k and if he did he's an idiot.

edit: Just looked on ebay, and the LT models are selling for more than I thought! I thought I remembered 26k base price just before they went on sale. Perhaps not...

the camero mrsp is like 30 grand for a V6 and 43 for a V8... what a tool.. id rather wait a little longer to buy a SS for that price then get a V6

That's what I thought - this guy is seriously trying to take advantage of what I believe are waiting times on the new Camaro. Kinda like people did when the new Wii, Xbox, and Playstation came out....

remember the thousands of idiots who were paying $80-100k for the new challengers because of the market value price up.

I think that's the challenge; getting your hands on one.

Should we call "bob" and inquire ? ;)

He's more expensive than the dealership

Personally I would just wait seeing how the convertible comes out next year.

And by then the price should drop a bit. Unfortunately this isn't a car you can go to the dealership and lowball the crap out of the guy to get.

:dunno:

When GM files, any cars in transit to dealers will be put into storage...expect delays only to get worse.

There not filing.. They managed to sell 10% of the company to the bond holders.

And between this and the volt are what GM are hoping will save the company.

Yes it really happened. I was working at a dodge dealer when the first 500 were released we had 3 and sold them for $75,000. We were the cheapest dealer on the street. Courtesey was selling theres for $96,000 - they sold all three...

I could live a content life with a Volt and Camero SS in the driveway. In reality I would be interested in the Volt a little bit but my Camero SS would be a 68 or 69.

I can't agree with that. Yes, the Challenger is a nice car, but a couple of weeks back I was riding down the road and pulled up behind a new Camaro with a big-haired cougar driving and man, was that thing sweet. Hello Mrs. Robinson!

saw a silver SS on barlow earlier this week. I have to agree, looks-wise Challenger >>>>> Camaro.

Davenport has already supercharged at least 2 SS Camaro's. Stock they made around 360rwhp, supercharged around 520rwhp.

^ Thats very objective. I do agree, but from a performance standpoint I'd rock a Camaro definitely.
Im waiting for the Trans am version to come out, modeled just like the '78 Trans am.
:D

Do want.
$43k for a loaded SS? sounds great!

IMHO, it doesn't look good in the pictures, either.
