Ive come to my senses, im NOT doing up the saturn *sigh* yes yes i know it would be a sleeper but the aftermarket is just to bloody expensive. So what im doing is paying it off within this next year, then saving up for another year. more or less 1 grand payments a month will make me buy off this car in 7-8 months (maybe sooner depending on bonsus' at work and such) then for the next 15 months after i buy off the car im going to save up 1000 a month. So thats 15000. 5000 to a new car, trade in value for my saturn will be around 4-5 grand so thats 9 grand down payment on a new car. the other 10 grand will be saved for a home payment when i get married and move out :)

So guys, what new cars do you like? (course at this time i will be lookin at like 2007 models lol) but for now im gettin pricing ideas. Im lookin at a 25,000 ish vehicle.

More or less thinkin

Ill also probably be lookin at "last years" model. so if its 2007, ill be lookin at 2006's cause they usually have killer deals on then

toyota celica gt
Honda Civic Si-G
Hyundai tuscani tiburon 6 speed

anybody else got any ideas? thanks (and do you guys think my plan is good? i dunno i decided to do some future planning heh i dont plan to live at home forever :D)

LOL
I think you are crazy :rofl::rofl:

You won't be buying an expensive car when you decide to move out, that's for sures. And $10,000 is nothing when it comes to home payment, you are going to pay interest out of your ass!!!

well if that indeed is your plan, ok. now for my opinion, because you want it.

Tibs suck. yes. yes. Quit arguing. Yes. They just do ok.

Celica's arnt that fast, if its fast you want, RSX-S. But not brand new of course as that is 32 000 base.

Civic? What? Are you 16? You still want a civic?

Civic, everyone else has ' been there done that ' I am not a honda lover but that is probably the best choice of the group.

The Celica, no room the engine is weak.

The last time I took a hyundai for a test drive it didnt' make it around the block before it was spewing antifreeze all over. good warrenty or not I wouldn't trust one.

By 2007 however there should be some other interesting options, turbo toyota echo/scion, Dodge SRT should have the bugs worked out of the head gasket, and I'm willing to bet nissan is going to be coming out with an interesting sentra soon.

Oh i know, 10 grand is my "savings" for a house not my total investment lol its my start.
Oh shit thats right i forgot about the RSX :D well id check around for any dealerships, see if they have any 2003-2004's at that time i imagine would be sellin for like 28,000ish or so. :)

if you're planning on being a baby boomer, try a mazdaspeed protege, gets you four doors, comfort and performance.

by then you could pick up a cheap USED, STi, EVO8, or SRT-4. I dunno it's up to you, I usually don't plan that far ahead, it never works out, shit happens. good luck though

Buy a motorhome, that solves both your problems

OR... get a, ION redline. It's saturn's way of keeping up with the SRT-4 and mazdaspeed's protoge, and whatever else is out there, NO, i'm not a saturn fan, just forking out resonable suggestions.
