Description : A pretty mint example of an Evo 8. Still rare in Canada, and still expensive to import. I don't have to sell this, I'm just seeing if anyone's interested. I have all the import paperwork from when I brought it up in March. Car's only seen about 3 weeks of snow, other than that never. This is the MR model, with aluminium roof, hood, fenders, 6-speed, etc... Car has passed OOP and RIV inspections and is registered in Alberta

The reason this is for sale is simply because I've amassed a decent amount of debt, lol... and would like to pay it off. I'm also looking at bikes for the summer as well. NO TRADES, unless you have an '06 R6 and cash. Don't lowball me either, I know what it costs to get one here.

i thought these were not legal for importing to canada for street use. have you registered it in alberta yet and did it go through all the RIV inspections etc....?

They're perfectly legal, and I doubt you'll be seeing lots of them. They're still expensive and the crowd that wants them is younger.

That said, I think mine is pretty reasonably priced.

What's the actual performance on the car? Any warranty? Any damages or reports on accidents, theft...? Any history on previous ownership? Where is the car from originally?

No warranty, since it's a USDM car. AFAIK, it's never been in an accident. If it was stolen, it would have a salvage title from the USA and it doesn't.

I'm the third owner.

Car is originally from Florida and the 2nd owner had it in Pennsylvania.

As for performance, it's quicker than a Cobb Stage 2 STi and I've had no trouble keeping up to a modded C5Z06 in town here. It should, with a tune, have no trouble putting down 300 whp on this setup. Considering people in the States are running 10 second passes on the stock turbo and the block can handle over 500 whp without any work, there's plenty of potential left in this car.
