Custom Matts

Can anyone recommend a place in Calgary to get inexpensive custom matts cut?

I want to get matts for several 20x28 frames that have an opening of 16 3/4's by 24 3/4's.

Places I have called, like Michael's, all charge around 40 dollars.

A lot of art supply stores sell the materials for them. You can always make them yourself...

Not a bad idea, but this makes the dangerous assumption that I am able to cut in a straight line.

the kit comes with a straight edge, angle cutter and directions. it's pretty much idiot proof

I didn't know about the kit, where is the best place to pick one up? Do they actually come is sizes as big as 20x28?

I picked mine up from michaels. the straight edge goes to 30" I believe. you can buy individual pieces if the kits don't work for you

Once you get the cutter, you can get sheets of matte board at Mona Lisa's. I think each sheet's about 64x80 or there abouts for $10.
