Hey guys, a friends B-day is coming up, and I wanted to get her a webcam since shes out in Austrailia. So I was looking at getting it here and sending that over, as well as a few other things.

Unfortunately I dont know much about webcams in general, so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Shes running Windows.

Whats the best webcam for a decent price?.. nothing overly high end, just something decent that does the job.
And where can I get it? is locally the best (and where?) or what?

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this and offer any help at all. :)

I will buy her a nice webcam, but you have to provide pics and copies of any future video escapades...

The Logitech QuickCam's are adequate and around $20.

Edit: on sale: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX15269(ME).aspx

Logitech STX Communicate are great cams, price is middle of the road. I got mine on sale for $35 at the time. Couldn't be happier. Fast, crisp and responsive.
