Heh... Police say the cause may have been due to a tire blowout. Sure

hmmm.... the article says blown out tire and the news reporter says slick tires.... so basically he was driving like a dumbass.

No "bad day at work" I've ever experienced can come close to topping that.

"So how was work today hun?"
"Oh not too bad, I lost control before almost writing off a $500,000 car, after seizing it from a drug bust. How about you?":dunno:

Why didn't they flatbed it?

It was probably a high-ranking agent who figured that he might as well add some excitement to his job, and volunteered to drive it over personally. Figured that he has handled high speeds in his cruiser...so why not a Ferrari. :dunno:

drugs busts = overinflate prices
FBI crashing cars = undervalue prices

Teens crashing cars = describe speeds with words like "at least"
FBI crashing cars = describe speeds with words like "only"

They said the cop was going only 40 miles per hour. When's the last time you read a news article where they used only before stating the speed?

Best reason I've seen yet for joining the FBI.
