out of province?

So I bought a car last night, the carfax says it was last registered in Alberta but when I took it to the registry they say it was registered in BC... the guy never told me about this, and I know its buyers be aware, but I once read on here that there is a website you can go on to make a complaint and maybe get your money back, anyone know what webiste this is?

First lesson, don't use carfax. You can try and use their buyback guarantee. I'm not sure if it covers incorrectly claimed provinces or not though. And even if they do it's a long rocky road to getting your money back. Believe me, I went through it.
