History
Car left the lot in July ’99 as a 2000 model. Bought the car Dec 2004 with 124,000km.
Since I have owned it I have used Castrol Syntec and OEM filters for all my oil changes. I have replaced:
-the ignitor
-ignition coil
-distributor
-distributor cap and rotor
-spark plugs and wires
-battery
-clutch and flywheel (OEM)
-timing belt & water pump (OEM)
-hood latch
-rear brakes and pads (Brembo blanks and Hawk pads), -radiator (Auto Value brand)
-clutch master cylinder (OEM).
I have all the receipts from work I’ve done as well as the mileage from when it was done.
The bad :
Unfortunately the car was damaged in an accident and the front passenger side is damaged. All the body panels have been replaced except the passenger door which is beginning to rust.
Hood cable appears to be shot and needs to be rerun.
AC doesn’t work.
Rock chips on the car are beginning to rust and some rust elsewhere
The good :
This car would be ideal for someone who wants to mod the car from stock.
The interior is in very good condition, aside from wear and tear on the driver’s side bolster. I’m usually by myself so the passenger seat and rear seats are in top shape.
Engine is strong still and still gets me 27-29 mpg in the city.
Car is fun to drive and the transmission and clutch are still tight.
Light tint on all 5 windows.
Viper keyless entry and alarm.
Have winter and summer tires on 7 GSR blades. I bent 1 rim in the accident but the buyer can see if they can repair it.
Summer and Winter tires are Yokohama ES100 and Michelin Pilot Alpin.
Some random spare parts to go with the car like a brand new headlight, another silver door, and a set of amber corners. Buyer can also take the rear wiper assembly.
