Description : Up for sale is a 1971 GMC 5500 flatbed tow truck, with an 18 foot Jerr-Dan deck and stinger out back for hauling a second car. This truck has had extensive work done in the past year, including a new 5.9 Cummins and Alison automatic. Tires, rims, rad, pto, pump, hydraulics, lights, j-hooks, winch cable, etc etc all new. There is over $40,000 worth of work done, with all receipts to prove it as well. Wayyyy too much stuff to list.
Tow truck is ready to go to work and needs nothing but a new owner. Runs perfect, deck has all new hydraulics, and a stinger out back for hauling a second car. Just passed an OOP in April of 2008 and has only had about 6 tanks of fuel through it since then. I'm moving out of the province and have to downsize before I go so this one is up for sale. I would use it in the meantime before I leave but I am wayyy too busy with other things so somebody may as well mak some money off it. Towing is a lucrative business in this city and with the price of scrap steel rising rapidly, this thing will pay for itself in no time.
