For pictures taken 70+ years ago they sure are pretty nice. I wonder if LIFE magazine did any ehancements to the images at all. I sure wouldn't guess most of them were taken that long ago.

I wonder if this car is still around, imagine how much it would go for. I love the fact that they're in color, really helps capture the moment and seems more realistic than the black and whites.

I wanted to buy an old Mercedes like that (there was a 50's or 60's one FS on beyond somewhere) and dress like Hitler for Halloween, but I think it's still too soon.
