My NSX got backed into at my parkade and as a result it needed a new door. I couldn't live with two shades of red on the car and decided to go with an entire new paint job by the best in town - Maranello Autobody. I think they did a fantastic job and while they aren't the cheapest they sure know how to make a guy smile. I also upgraded the rear bumper - which they had to modify for the twin tips, got some new rims and tires and added a wings west spoiler. I also finally got my headers, Gruppem V2 exhaust, Comptech carbon fibre air box, Koni Coil Overs, Type R chassis bars and rear strut brace installed by Jim at Option Import - another awesome shop experience I might add. I'm in love with the car all over again. It sounds great, handles great and looks wicked. All I have left is to install the high boost kit and brakes. I can't wait.

I highly recommend both Gerry at Maranello and Jim at Option Import if you happen to need the type of services they provide. Too often you hear the bad stories so I wanted to share a couple of really positive ones.

For the kind of money those guys charge, you better be getting satisfactory results.

 for Gerry at Maranello.

They're the only bodyshop I let touch my car.

+1 Jim @ Option Import, can't wait to see his turbocharged NSX.

Last time I was at his shop he had two NSX's on the hoist, one was supercharged and the other had a turbocharger.

:burnout:

Approximately how much did the paint job run you, if you don't mind me asking?

Great looking car Erik!

+1 to Jim at option import.

He saved me about 600$ once -- there was something wrong with my lights and instead of replaceing the part, he opening up the column and fixed it manually, the good old fashioned way because he "had a hunch about what was wrong"

I remember when Gerry repainted my delsol VTEC. It was about $4500 but that was in the 90's when he was in that tiny little shop. He's done a few of my vehicles and it's about as good as you will get in Calgary.
