NYC Sushi

I have reservations at both Morimoto's as well as Nobu in NYC this weekend, but I'm going to drop one of them in favour of a different offering. Which should I keep? I know it's a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping someone has been to either recently and would like to share their experience.

Drop both.

Go to Yasuda, request Master Yasuda at the Sushi Bar, and order Omakase. Check out the NYC Sushi thread on eGullet forums.

Kurumazushi is another recommendation.

If you're going for traditional sushi, you can't go wrong at Sushi Yasuda.
