Hey Beyond.

Which driving ranges in town have grass to hit off of instead of the rubber mats?

It depends on the day you go for the most part. Most places hit off both... the grass needs to repair occasionally which is when you have to hit off the shitty mats.

If you get a chance, head down to Heritage Pointe. For $35 you get unlimited use of the practice facilities all day which includes the range, chipping/sand/putting area, and their practice holes (Par 5 dogleg right, Par 3, Par 4 dogleg left). It's AWESOME. They also have a few different tiers to hit off of grass, so your chances of hitting off the mat are less.

That heritage pointe deal sounds great though. I'll definately check that out.

i believe on certain days.. you can hit off th grass at the driving range in harvest hills

I can confirm this, not sure on the days though.

Valley Ridge golf course has a range?

The one beside the Heritage/Glenmore interchange has grass, mats, and heaters for cold days. It's a well maintained facility too, and they offer good deals on range passes/bucket deals. :thumbsup:

I believe the days are every Tuesday and Thursday

If you're up near Airdire, i think the Woodside golfcourse also uses grass

Bump. Anyone care to provide any recent input??

I know Harvest Hills is on Tues/Thurs and RCGA starts grass near the end of the month.

RCGA is full of bugs ALL the time and their grass isn't THAT great. Harvest is still Tues/Thurs.

^haha.... I know. I was looking for other suggestions.

Looks like Silverwing has grass sometimes as well. Might head down there tonight.
