What does that stove run on? If it's an electric grill wouldn't it suck away the car battery too quickly, while it would be a bit unsafe to carry a propane tank in the very back if it's a gas grill?

that looks to me like it would be bad for the paint on your tailgate, you'd cook your paint every time you use the thing.

I fucking hate people that drive around with their trailer hitches on. I wish police would enforce that more, they cause so much damage, even in a minor accident. Truck wins, whatever is behind it loses.

That's exactly why most truck owners keep their hitches in. At my last job, my boss told me to always keep a hitch in my company truck, that way damage would be less if there was ever an accident.

AND it really sucks when you walk into one!

I've been known to walk into one at work from time to time

so, pay attention when you drive?

if you're an idiot and cant pay attention then you deserve to have your car written off... why would the poor innocent person you hit have to be inconvenienced for your stupidity?

(i know is is not always the case, but 90% of the time it is.)

Its accually illegal to have your hitch in the receiver - unless your obviously pulling a trailer.

Years ago I got a ticket for it once, so I removed it in front of the officer and threw it in the back of the truck. He gave me an unsafe load ticket. :dunno:

Last week I had my shackle receiver in the rover in preparation for a trip, and an officer casually mentioned it to me.

I had a bbq on the back of my jeep for a while during wheelin trips

That is a great add-on for any vehicle when going out somewhere (park, football game, buddys alley for garage day)

Yeah, I've heard of that ticket by the police. My friend have a Ford truck and he's often pulling a trailer and he said he had to remove hitch sometimes when not in use.

BUT...the real question is whatever if a officer can fine people who have older hitches that were welded built to bumper supports or under truck/car's body frames? That was before the idea of hidden removable hitches.

BTW, how much was this ticket you got for "unsafe load"?
