i am really really in love with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern wheel. and i have a 4x100. i would change the whole brake and hub assembly but after doing some research it i have come to the conclusion that it is impossible for a 1988 Honda Prelude. the next thing that i considered would be a Hub adapter from 4x100 to 5x114.3. Does anyone know if these things are produced? or if its even possible to have a hub adapter with the change from 4x100 to 5x114.3. Does anyone know where i can buy them? (in town perferably). I am aware of the "Risk" that hub adapters pose but i think it is the only option available. Unless there are any sugestions that could be brought to my attention.

Thanks!

They typically need to be atleast a 25mm spacer/adapter so that the stock studs aren't sticking out past the new wheel mounting surface. So take into account as well.

H&R makes some.... they're popular with the VW guys.

so i found a website with hub adapters. http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheels_adaptors.asp

there is nothing really that would work for what i want. Is there anyway that i can re-machine any of these adapters to fit my specifications?
