diving board on top of ICT building

at the u of c campus there's a diving board on the ICT building and another, which i forget. just curious why the hell do they have them haha

Lol im assuming for the same reason they have the dog houses. They always remind me of the jetsons where it has the conveyor belt for their dog to exercise

The dog houses are actually nesting sites for local peregrine falcons. There's a website tracking the spottings here:
