alright i got a 2007 black dodge charger, v6, decent fuel economy, and looks good, im in love with the design of the car, when i was looking for a car i wanted reliability and good looks, i got both (i like to think atleast since i like the car) anyways... since i got reliability, im quenching for power now, im wanting to switch to the R/T or the srt8, Now before you all go and suggest other cars, just keep in mind im not wanting to switch brands at all or make, im absolutley hooked on this car, but want more power... Anybody know where i can find a RT model for less than 30k? SRT8 might be a bit on the hard side for that price range, but worth the shot.
Im looking to purchase from a dealership tho, no private sales nor shady ass dealerships, real certified dealerships that have a good name and are well known... Anybody on beyond have somebody they know who has some in stock? Possibly anybody working at a dealership on this forum that can help?

Much appreciated
Thanks

If you can pay cash the dealers have a $12,000 incentive on them right now + whatever you can negotiate off. You can get a brand new 2009 R/T for under 30K. However it will be tough to find the exact color and options you want since I think all production stopped a while ago.

They depreciate unbelievably fast, shouldn't be a problem at all.

i sure hope i can find a nice one! you really knotice the little difference from the base v6 to the R/T... im talking looks wise tho, i love everything on my car except the spoilerless look, the interior looks a lot better in the R/T opposed to mine, the 5.7 hemi has the power i want, and surprisingly it has the best handling for an almost 2 ton car....

Im hoping to find one in september, im hoping the sales will go down a little more from the september month to novemberish because of winter slowly creeping up then, and maybe dealers will lower the price a bit more....

I did the V6 to SRT8 swap last year.

The upgrade to the HEMI will not be a regrettable decision!

i would'nt doubt it! the feel and power of those cars in such a spacious design is simply amazing! Hopefully i could find one in my price range here!

Try to find an R/T with the Road & Track package, its the same as the Daytona package, only no Daytona stripes and not limited in production.

For more info and access to local lx platform owners, check out the ALX forum here: http://www.lxforums.com/board/forumdisplay.php?f=229

If your hooked on power don't even bother with the RT, just go straight to the SRT-8. If you end up getting the RT you will want to mod to get it faster, or you will sell to get the srt-8 anyways later on.

You could try lease busters. Take over someone's lease, see if you like it, buy it out at the end.

Just an idea.

QFT, I like my R/T Magnum and all, but I'm always looking for an SRT8 Magnum to replace her.
