View Full Version : attempted theft leaves my vehicle written off

Some guy tried to jack my BMW from behind my office. It looks as though his hotwiring job went bad, and it started the car on fire. SGI wrote the car off this morning. Smoke damage was extensive.

I see that a lot with BMW's, theives have a really tough time breaking into it, so they fuck everything up inside the car instead.

Hopefully you have an easy time with insurance, good luck.

sorry to see this... what a bastard. we should gather the beyond csi team and dropkick, uppercut, curb stomp, and shoot this loser.

then go for a cruise.

It looks like that is what happened....

Insurance was VERY fair with their offer. I can go out and pick up an equivalent car without adding any $$.

Whatever happened to a fused circuit?

I had some dolt try to hotwire my Honda (with factory immobilizer :rolleyes: ) and he burnt out a couple of fuses.
