some info you may not know about the car.

Car use to belong to some guy that works at the same place as me.

The motor in it, is not the original. The motor is actually from my 240SX, which had over 350,000KMs (and mated with a automatic tranny) on it when it was removed. The reason it has no temp sensor, is because it was removed and put on my KA24DE. Ignition components, plugs, wires, dizzy, cap are all pretty new, new PCV valve. If you don't believe me pull the plugs out and they are must likely AC Delco Rapidfires. The shell is very clean. But the motor is probably getting tired, although it ran very good and pulled very hard up until I swapped for a S14 DOHC.

How much does it usually cost to find a decent SR20 and get it all swapped in?

SR20 Blacktop = ~1800
SR20 Red top = ~1700

(try JDM Source, Auto Dream, Speed Tech, will be in that price range)

Misc parts needed, ie. downpipe, piping, battery relocate/smaller battery ~500+

Labor- 500-1000$.

Basically for a blacktop or red top you're looking around 3000$ - 4500$ completely put in your car (by a shop or other), depending on S13 or S14 blacktop, depending if you do FMIC or SM, depending quality parts you buy for the swap. Feel free to PM me for a pretty decent list of the parts you need and there approx prices.

Would be a hell of a lot cheaper and easier... Ray (Cooked Rice) had one done in by Auto dream maybe throw him a PM (or autodream/speedtech), but there's less mod needed, and the engines are a hell of a lot cheaper then an SR... Finding one in great shape is a bit trickier.
