Hey since you said it's a killer of "AspireONE" I'm just wondering if the old Centrino CPU is any faster than the new intel atom CPU?

I am interested.

I google atom vs banias, and it's not exactly clear which would be better overall. Some say the Centrino is better or that they are comparable. But no one has said the Atom is better...

The Atom probably gives a bit better battery life and won't cook your pants, as it was designed for low power consumption.

What's the battery life like?

Battery life is good. 2-2.5-ish hours from a full charge, depending on WiFi useage.

The 7200 RPM hdd also takes a bit of a toll on the battery life, but this thing runs line a desktop thanks to it, so it's a fair trade-off.

I have had a ton of interest, but unfortunately, can not book appointments a week in advance for upcoming weekends - I don't think that far ahead and something always comes up.

If you are interested, PM me and tell me you wanna check it out in the next day or so...NOT next week, as I don't have the time.

Also, Offers of $200-220 ? save yourself the time it takes to PM me.

I would almost rather agree and have you come to pick it up just to have you watch me drive over it in person for that price......exactly.

Interesting, since you had at one point dropped your asking price to $240obo before editing it back up.

Whatever, since you are obviously too busy to bother booking an hour to meet someone who had cash in hand and was ready to buy, I went to staples and picked up a brand new netbook with equivalent specs for $297.

Good luck with your sale... the way you are going about it, you'll need it.

LMAO......Not a chance. You obviously know nothing about computers, so it's perhaps best that you didn't pick this one up.

Put your Netbook up against this one and if it is capable of beating this IBM in a single benchmark or task that they are both equipped to accomplish, I will give you this thing for FREE.

THAT'S HOW CONFIDENT I AM......and informed, as it was.

I have been looking at this thing since it was posted trying to justify buying this when I am already in possession of like, six laptops, two of them netbooks.

I am firmly confident that this thing would kill any of my smaller notebooks in pretty much all respects, if anyone's on the fence, and it's a really nice size.

If it's still around when I can justify to myself spending $300 on yet another computer, I'll get in touch, but until then, I wish you the best of luck with the sale, and finding a buyer who's not a complete moron or douche.
